Four Quick Cards

What is this you may ask and how do I use it?

These are a newer product that SU came out with. The official name is "Printed Window Sheets" I guess that really says it all. They are window sheets that are printed with beautiful designs. In this current catalog there are three different designs and two different sizes. They can be found on page 169 of the catalog.

The one shown above is called Clearly Thanks (8-1/2 x 11). Simply put: cut the window sheet into fourths and mount on some card stock and you are done. That is why I labeled this post four quick cards. Doesn't get much easier then that.

If you look hard enough at the pictures you can see how I adhered the window sheets to the card stock. For example: the rust card with the white ribbon is attached with the two rhinestone brads. The Yellow card is adhered with the yellow ribbon and so on.

Easy to make Book Markers

We made these book markers at my Open House in August Celebrating the release of Stampin' Up!s new Catalog/Idea Book What I enjoy about these book markers is they fit comfortably and snug on the corner of your book. There is nothing on this book marker to damage the pages of your precious reading material.

This is a great project for kids to make. Little supervision is needed and you really don't use a ton of supplies. If anything this is a great scrap project. Use all the scrap paper and card stock you have laying around add a little adhesive and you are done.

Supplies I used:

Paper Basic Gray 108692 and DSP Nouveau Chic 115670

Punch: 5 petal flower 109041

Corduroy Button: Kraft 114340

You will need a 4x4 or 5x5 piece of card stock. I used a 4x4 and therefore the measurements are from that format.

1) 4x4 piece of card stock

2) score at 2" both vertical and horizontal

3) as shown in Fig. 2 cut out one corner section

4) now fold in the other two sides and you have made your book marker!

Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by, Sue

It's all in the packaging

This container once housed strawberries from the grocery store. Now it will house cookies, cards, candy, lotions, or candles. Anything I want it to! It's all in the packaging, right!

This project was possible with the help of my Big Shot die cutting machine. The two dies I used were:

1) Top Note (the yellow and white paper)

2) Flower Daises#2

The center of the flower is our new Corduroy Buttons. They add a great texture to your artwork plus majority of these buttons are brads. Completly easy to work with!

Purse Scrap Book

Help me with this one.... How do you spell Scrap Book... is it one word or two words? Spell check has it as two words but I see on the billboards around town as one word... Please leave a comment and help me out ;) See I told you I have been busy....
When you open it up it creates six places to place your pictures...Two of the hidden areas are tucked inside each envelope on either side. You can see in this bottom picture what I am talking about. A picture is worth a thousand words right?
Some of the items just retired as of June 3oth...If you have any questions please leave a comment and I will answer them.
July is really a busy month for me and the new catalog goes live on July 1st.... I will post when I can... My open house will be at the end of July...

Thanks for stopping and looking forward to reading your comments on my spelling request ;) Sue

scrap book glitter page

A friend (Thank you Kathy Sanders) purchased the Sticky Cuts Sweet and the Stampin' Glitter and allowed me to play with them...... I have been curious and had some fun...here are the two pages I created.
The Sticky Cuts have adhesive on both sides so all you do is peel off one side and place it on your paper (clay pot, cell phone, purse.) Once it is down peel off the top layer and then apply your glitter or micro beads and it sticks beautifully.... The pictures only give you one dimension. Seeing them in person and being able to move the page around really allows the image to "sparkle."

Yes! I also cleaned my room and added a table. I found I really like having my Big Shot and other tools handy and ready to use.....One day I will turn the camera around and show you the rest...

June Meeting

Although you haven't heard much from me lately I have been busy stamping, scrap booking and hosting meetings.... I did have a wonderful opportunity happen to me. I was asked to interview for a position, that would only last for the Spring, to work one-on-one with a child in the NTSD. I did accept the job and had a wonderful time helping the child and getting to know the School Staff.
Needless to say I could not do it all.......
Thank you for your continued support in my business! .........
These pictures are from my last down line meeting held the third Monday in June.....
We made 7 cards, swapped 7 cards and I also added a scrapbook challenge along with a color challenge...

For the scrapbook challenge I pre-cut an altered book...emailed directions.... and asked that they bring their finished work to the July meeting....
The Color Challenge: I found a brochure for my inspiration and asked these creative girls to make anything they wanted too using the same type of color theme..... I am looking forward in seeing and sharing what they come up with.
Thanks for checking in, Sue

May Class

For this Class we made a really cool box and 12 cards to place inside. We used the Bella Rose Designer Serices Papers (which is retiring).
Retta won the door price- a packet of Raspberry Tart DSP 12x12 paper

I love how hard she is working. If this was me I would have my tongue sticking out to the left to help me color in the stamp ;)

Great idea! Making an assembly line to complete her cards. She was the first one done that evening! Way to go Jodie!

These ladies are set. They made a wonderful gift or something precious for them to keep. They have 12 cards ready to chose from for different occasion's too.

Keep checking back for my list of new classes will be posted soon.

Let me know how I may help you with your stamping and scrapbooking needs, Sue
