Downline Challenge

Do you remember last week I posted a challenge to my Downline? It was to make a dresser out of the Box #2 die cut for the Big Shot. Rachel F. was the first (and only one so far) to email me her creations. I am sure I will receive more at our meeting in April. So here is Rachels work:

You can check out her blog here:http://www.stamphappyolympia.blogspot.com/

This was the Challenge: To create the dresser out of the material in the bag.

Big Shot at work

I am really having fun with my new machine. To be honest with you it looked pretty overwhelming to me but I knew I had to have it. I was just seeing so many page/card designs that were using the dies. As you can see I over came my fears. And you know what, the machine is really easy to use!

The die for the flower is our newest one and it is called Flower,Daisies #2. You can kinda see from the second picture the textured background. That is also done with the Big Shot. This is a newer product for us it is called texturz plates and you receive 6 texturz for only $11.95

The DSP for the flower and the ribbon are from Sale-a-bration (click here to learn more about that promotion.)

The metal that you see in the first image is from the Hodgepodge Hardware and the rhinestone brad is from the Circle Ice collection.

Let me know if I can help you over come your fears of this machine.

Wow! I received an award from Constant Contact for delivering consistent email based newsletters to my customers for all of last year. This is what they said:

Congratulations! As a 2008 Constant Contact All Star, you're part of a select group of customers and business partners. We're proud to recognize your efforts to effectively use email marketing in 2008 to connect with your customers and members.

Wow ladies this is huge for me. Being consistent in anything is amazing and then being recognized is kinda fun. I do understand that this is a marketing device for them, however I am still tickled that I was selected.

If you are not a demonstrator, live in the United States, and would like to receive my newsletter please email me and I will add you to the list.

Quick and Easy Card

Okay here is the story behind this sketch: It is Saturday night. I have been in my room stamping for hours listening to very loud rock music ( I never get to do this the stars just lined up for me.) I had been waiting for an email so I stick my head out of my office to look at the computer table and to my surprise no one is there! I check my email and I find this sketch in my inbox. I am so tickled now cause I have everything to make this card! I run back to my office clear a small space on my table and produce 8 cards! I tell you this is why I stamp! I was in a ZONE.

You can't really tell in these pictures but in the center of the flower is a blue rhinestone brad. It matches beautifully with the Pacific Point ink and the new DSP Good Morning Sunshine.

Check out this website I like their sketches they are very clean and simple:

I guess that is it for now..............Dare to be Fabulous,
Sue

Stamp Set: Wow Flower 111714
DSP-Designer Series Paper: Good Morning Sunshine 113966

More Petal Pizzazz, box with pattern

I love how these boxes turned out. Did you notice the metal brad? These are our newest item. At the end of this post you can view them. I also added a link to the box pattern.

The background paper you see is our newest collection for summer. Love it! Very Vibrant!

This is the size of the box pattern I have attached to this post. If you want the box to
be longer like the picture above here is the Trick: place the pattern at the very botton of your paper. Trace around the bottom and sides. Bring the pattern now to the very top and trace the top of the pattern and sides. This is how you can extend the box.

To add that professional touch at the top of the box I used our new Eyelet border punch. It just gives the box a nice finished look.

Click here for Box Pattern. Side note: the strip you see on the pattern I did not use for this box.

Have a Fabulous Day,

Sue
