We made these book markers at my Open House in August Celebrating the release of
Stampin' Up!s new Catalog/Idea Book

What I enjoy about these book markers is they fit comfortably and snug on the corner of your book. There is nothing on this book marker to damage the pages of your precious reading material.

This is a great project for kids to make. Little supervision is needed and you really don't use a ton of supplies. If anything this is a great scrap project. Use all the scrap paper and card stock you have laying around add a little adhesive and you are done.
Supplies I used: Paper Basic Gray 108692 and DSP Nouveau Chic 115670
Punch: 5 petal flower 109041
Corduroy Button: Kraft 114340

You will need a 4x4 or 5x5 piece of card stock. I used a 4x4 and therefore the measurements are from that format.
1) 4x4 piece of card stock
2) score at 2" both vertical and horizontal
3) as shown in Fig. 2 cut out one corner section
4) now fold in the other two sides and you have made your book marker!
Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by, Sue
